Why HTA explainers? I have been on a bit of a development journey to build my understanding with respect to access, HTA, reimbursement and the evidence requirements that support these. These areas are critical for the success of new health technology innovations and virtually every conversation I have, in work, leans heavily on these areas.
In my experience, working across different commercial and cross functional teams there has been varying levels of understanding of these areas. I therefore thought it may be useful to share some of my understanding with the aim of promoting fluency and curiosity in these areas.
I have developed a series of short explainers focusing on common themes and topics – outlining what these concepts are and why they are important. Of course, I would welcome any feedback or suggestions along the way.
